"Lipella develops empty liposomes for the treatment of urinary bladder dysfunction, as well as targeted local delivery of active agents to the urinary bladder.  Their lead compound, LP-08, is an empty liposomal suspension currently in preclinical development for the treatment of refractory overactive bladder and painful bladder syndrome.  Lipella plans to file an IDE (or IND) for this product by early 1Q09."
